These kilts are made from pure worsted wool woven by Lochcarron in Selkirk Scotland. The 16oz range is the ultimate in kilting weight, my personal kilt is 16 oz, I can wear it all day, take it off and hang it up and it still looks as good as when I had put it on. The 8 yards ensure deep pleats which give the kilt that traditional swing Be careful of alot of retailers, when you ask for the price on a kilt ask what weight they are going to use.
